Pendle Walk
One of the last walks up Pendle Hill this year that can start after work. Start time is 17:00hrs and this view is from the foot of the track and shows Pendle House and a little sunlight on Barley Hill (r).
Black Moss Reservoirs
Late sunshine on the reservoirs. Foulridge Lower Reservoir is also in view a little further away.

Later arrivals; the three men appeared to be doing a circuit from the Downham / Clitheroe side.

The Stile
The sun went behind coastal clouds about ten minutes before sundown. It was rather cool on top and so it was time to leave.
Walkers: Just Me
Time taken: 1 hour 18 mins over a distance of about 2.5 miles.
Route: Roadside parking, up the track, along the top and down the steps. Dwell time on top, enjoying the extensive views all around.
Weather and conditions: Sunny, quite cool - three layers. It'll be gloves next...
